Best Plan for Great Wedding Hair and Wedding Hairstyle Ideas

Tuesday, November 27th, 2007

By Chris Ryerson Many other cultures have developed traditions regarding a bride to be and her hair. For example in China it is customary for a married women to do the bride’s hair. Since she is experienced with being married and seen as a successful wife she can help ease the nervous bride. Traditionally she will also speak of the good fortune of the bride and abut the future of the couple. In the United States and Western cultures we do not have these deeper traditions but many recognize the importance of a great hairdo. Often women spend a great deal of time planning a wedding, picking the perfect dress and labor over the makeup the day of the wedding. It makes sense then to spend just as much time on the hairstyle that will be worn. By following the steps below and planning ahead you can ensure that the wedding hairstyle will be the perfect final touch to a beautiful bride. Step 1 Find a Hairdresser Several months before the wedding it is important to pick out a hairdresser that you can build a relationship with. You want this to be someone that you can trust and have built a rapport with. Ask to see samples of hairstyles they have done and even go for a cut early on to see how they work. This will help you find the right person for you. Step 2 Set up a Consultation Appointment Often hairstylists will do a consultation appointment with you where you can meet them one on one and discuss hairstyle ideas for your wedding day. You will want to talk about the shape of your face, the wedding gown you will be wearing and possible styles that you are thinking about. The hairdresser can help you in picking styles that will flatter your features and work well with your wedding dress. For example with long hair an updo can work very well and give a very classic look. Or if you want to wear your hair down and lose it can give a more romantic feeling. Discuss these options with a trained hairstylist and see what they think would be best. They see tons of people’s hair day in and day out and have a professionally trained eye and often can spot things that you might not even think of. Step 3 Practice Session A week or two before the big day set up a practice session. During this time you can go in to the hairstylist and have them actually style your hair like they will for the wedding day. This will give you a chance to feel and look at the style in reality and see what you think. Spend some time with your hair in this style and see if it is comfortable. It is also important for you to get comfortable with the style beforehand so you can wear it like it is just part of your normal style and elegance. Also walk around the salon and see if it feels comfortable and if anything comes lose. You don’t want to be struggling and fighting with your hair on your big day so make sure it works for you and make adjustments to the plan as needed. You also might want to wear a dress with a similar neckline and shape as your wedding dress. Traditionally it is a bad omen to wear a wedding dress before the big day but find something that is similar. This will help you in establishing if you like the style or not. Step 4 The Big Day It is important to go in as relaxed as possible. It at all possible it can be very nice to get a full body message the day or night before the wedding so that you are as relaxed as possible. Make your appoint hours before so that you will not be rushed or feel panicked. By following these 4 easy steps and planning ahead your hairstyle should be as comfortable to you as something you wear everyday. You want your hairstyle to feel like that old pair of comfortable sweatpants or pajamas yet something that looks like a million bucks. By practicing before hand and consulting with a trained and professional hairstylist you can ensure that you will feel comfortable and clam on the big day. Well, maybe not but at least you won’t have to worry about your hair on top of everything else. Chris Ryerson is the webmaster of Plan Best Wedding. How to Create a Niche Market for Your Business

Monday, November 26th, 2007

By Gabrielle Melisende Have you ever wondered how so many beauty salons, web design companies, attorneys or Mexican restaurants can exist in the same geographic area? Especially in small populated areas? Maybe the demand is high. Or, perhaps some of these businesses have set themselves apart by targeting a niche market. A niche is a special area of demand for a product or service. Not all beauty salons, for example, are created equal in price, customer service, convenient location and hours, scheduling, stylist expertise and so on. The same is literally true for all businesses; web design, marketing consultants, hardware stores, attorneys. The list goes on. Creating a niche and marketing to both your general and niche markets is a smart business and marketing strategy. You cannot expect to start a business with millions of world wide competitors (via the Internet), hundreds or thousands of regional competitors and a dozen or more local competitors, and instantly, or easily, gain a fair market share without creating a niche market. Every business has a niche. The key is identifying what that niche is. An online retailer like Amazon.com has a different niche than competitors Barnes & Noble or Borders who rely more on developing a local presence and foot traffic. A few years ago DHL came out with a brilliant commercial pitting itself against the leading overnight delivery service. DHL did not claim to be number one or lower priced. Instead they capitalized on a niche market, being number two and a reliable back up service when you, the consumer, need it most. It was a brilliant campaign. Identifying or creating a niche means digging deeper into what sets your business, product or service apart from the competition. The typical marketing question is “Why would I buy from you instead of Company X?” Your answer will likely just scratch the surface and match what many competitors could claim. This is where you dig deeper. Look at your location, hours of operation, years of experience, price point, friendly staff, response time to customer inquiries or processing orders, the quality of your product or delivery of your service, personalized attention, and so on. For example, marketing easy access to your business from a major road or highway is a niche that should drive traffic and make sales soar. If you are the only video store in your area play it up. If your video store carries a large selection of hard to find movies in VHS format and stays open until midnight, those are two more niche markets. Being a new wholesale supplier in a regional area is big news to your local city as well as the region, creating multiple niches for your business overnight. Claims of being the first, the only one or the original are unique niche selling points that no one else can (legitimately) claim. Do not wait for your industry or market to become saturated to identify and market your niche. Start now. Work both your general market as well as your niche market to develop a solid foundation for success so you can survive when competition does heat up. As your business grows or your industry changes so will your niche opportunities grow and change. 10 Tips to Make Your First Date Successful

Saturday, November 24th, 2007

By Matthew Buschbacher 1. Take her somewhere that you go often - You’ll give yourself a lot of credibility and value if you take her to place where everyone knows you. Stop and chat with the staff there. Learn their names and make sure they know yours. It only says good things about you. If you dont have a place like this yet, make one. 2. Take her to an interesting restaurant Its a lot more fun to go eat sushi or some type of authentic ethnic food than just going to a more common restaurant. You dont want it too be so interesting that theres always something crazy going on and you cant talk to her. Just make sure it is a little different. 3. Relax The more you relax and show that youre comfortable, the more your date will relax. If you feel like youre getting nervous or tense, just take a deep breath, relax your shoulder muscles and smile. Just focus on having a good time. 4. Get rid of your expectations So many guys that I meet wrap expectations around everything they do. They think, buying dinner = shes going to be my girlfriend or wife. If you just spend the time that youre together having a good time, acting like you would around someone you already know well and show that you couldnt care less if anything happens between the two of you, youll have a much better chance of progressing things than if you act like shes the first girl youve seen in twenty years, acting really nervous and so dumb that she runs away. 5. Dont talk about normal boring topics or guy topics If you want to be like every other boring guy out there, talk about what job she has, where she has gone to or goes to college. Only talk about guy topics like sports, lifting weights or something like that if SHE is already very interested in them. Also, dont cling to a topic like its the only thing you can talk about. If a conversation dies, let it go. 6. Have a story or two that you can tell if you run out of things to say One of the best ways to keep a conversation going is to have a few stories that you can tell at any time. When the conversation stops, just say, Anyway, and go into a story. The story doesnt have to be something too amazing, just a little bit different. Tell a story about a date that you went on where your date did something embarrassing or funny. Women love to talk about relationships and Ive found that they are the easiest to come up with. If youre having problems, just grab a girly magazine and read it for 15 minutes. You should find more than enough things to talk about in there. 7. Know a little bit about a lot of things You can ask me about almost anything and I probably know enough about it to talk for at least 5 minutes. The more you know about, the easier it will be to hold conversations on just about any topic. 8. If your date wants to talk, listen to her People like to talk and get the feeling that what they have to say is important. This doesnt mean that you should ask her endless questions trying to get her to talk. If shes not talking, feel free to. But, dont interrupt her if she is. 9. Dont try to impress your date One of the worst things a guy can do is talk about how much money he has, what kind of a car he drives or anything else that comes across as trying hard to impress. If you do have a cool house or car, let her find out when she sees it. And if she isnt impressed by it, dont be surprised. Youre much better off by just being a relaxed, fun, cool guy than you are trying to impress her. 10. Have a plan You should have your date planned in advance. And although you should have it planned, you should also be flexible. If something comes up that could be a lot of fun, dont be so rigid that you cant change plans. Your plan should be more of a guideline so that you always have something to do. Matt Buschbacher teaches men all across the world how to meet and date women. What Do Women Really Want?

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Rod Cortez A common question men ask is what do women really want? They seem to say things like “I want a nice guy” and thenthey end up dating a complete jerk. If they don’t go outwith a jerk then they go out with the “bad boy”. When a man asks me that question, I ask them why do they feelcompelled to have an answer to that? Before a man can answer that question he first needs tobe able to answer “what do I want in a woman?” Every manhas a different set of beliefs, values, and preferencesand he should really put some thought on how importantthey are to him. Using myself as an example, I’m at apoint in my life where I don’t want to be in a relationship. So the #1 value I’m looking for in a woman right now isthat she has to be fun and easy-going. Someone else mightbe looking for a woman that places higher value on thingslike family, communication, finances, etc. Once a man has figured out what he really wants in awoman, then it makes it much easier for him to screenout the women that does not fit his criteria and he focushis time and energy on the ones that do. So we come full circle and get back to the common question that menask me and that is “what do women really want?”. Every woman is unique and different, but over the yearsI’ve noticed some commonalities that they share. We areassuming that we are also talking about emotionally healthy women that are not dealing with a lot of personalissues. Here are some of the common things that women want? 1. Women want a man with a spine - A very common complaintI hear from women around the world is that it’s hard tofind a real man. What does that mean anyway? They arelooking for a man who has his own opinion, who is notafraid to disagree with her, and a man who will stand upfor himself and for her. 2. Women want a man with leadership skills - Whether it’sgoing out for a night out on the town or in the bedroom,a woman wants a man who is not afraid to be the Alpha Male. He’s not afraid to lead. This does not mean that he actscontrolling or jealous. On the contrary, a man who iseither a natural leader or has honed his leadership skillsbecause he has dated a lot of women, will know when andhow to lead. A great way of leading is to give your date2 to 3 options on what to do for that coming weekend andthen letting her decide. For the first date, you shoulddo what you like because this will help you screen her tosee if she likes doing what you like to do. 3. Women want a man, not a boy - An attractive woman whois healthy and well-balanced does not want to date a boy.She wants a man who has his own life, has goals, andambition. He doesn’t live with his parents, he has his own place, and does not have financial problems. 4. When she’s ready she will want a man who can commit -When a woman begins developing feelings for you, she will let you know it. She will start talking about thefuture, either directly or indirectly. She might startsaying things like “wouldn’t our kids be cute?” or “wouldn’t it be cool if we went to Hawaii next summer?”.When a woman makes foward-looking statements that hintabout the future, then it’s a huge sign that she wantsto take things to the next level. Sure, some womencasually date, but ultimately most women eventually want to settle down with someone. It’s up to you topay attention and listen to what she’s really saying toyou. 5. Women want a man with a healthy self image and style -Ever had an old girlfriend nag at you because you worethe same stupid baseball cap? Or maybe because you needed to trim those eyebrows of yours? Ever go to theshopping mall with a woman and she starts suggestingon what things you should wear? Attractive women want a man with style. It’s obvious that women don’tlike slobs. Most men don’t have a good sense of stylewhich is why they should recruit a female friend orrelative to go shopping with them. If that’s notpossible, simply going to a shopping mall and lookingfor the most attractive female clerk to help you cando the trick. Having style isn’t enough. You should also have a positive outlook toward life and your future. Womenfind that very attractive. No one likes a whiner ora complainer, so if you have a tendency to be negativeyou really should make an effort to get that handled.Otherwise you might look back a few years from nowand ask the same question “what do women really want?” Article Source: http://EzineArticles.com/?expert=Rod_Cortez http://EzineArticles.com/?What-Do-Women-Really-Want?&id=349714 phetermine diet pills phentermine online overnight phentermine buy phentermine cheap phentermine no perscription

Trolling - Methods, Gear and Baits

Friday, November 23rd, 2007

By Michael Russell The fact that fish will strike at moving objects has been known to man since the dawn of time. Evidence of this has been found throughout the world. Polynesians troll pearl shell jigs with tortoise-shell hooks from paddle canoes. Other races trolled from a variety of sail and oar propelled vessels, long before the advent of the motor. Now anglers can troll at various speeds and to depths of up to 60 fathoms with long lines and metal traces or downriggers. Trolling is equally productive in salt or freshwater. It is synonymous with game-fishing but can capture a variety of fish of all sizes and in all depths of water. Technological advances in boating equipment, navigational aids, depth sounders, water temperature gauges, as well as in the tackle used by the angler has fuelled an explosion in the number of trolling offshore anglers who head out every day to feeding grounds miles from the coast. Trolling can be done with dead or live baits and lures. The bait/lure combination has been developed over the years whereby a skirt or plume of feathers can adorn the head of the bait. This can serve two purposes, it attracts the attention of the fish and prolongs the life of the bait. As the bait is dragged through the water the skirt breaks the water ahead of the baitfish and reduces the amount of drag and friction on the bait, providing a streamlined, faster trolling action. This action excites the fish and encourages a strike at the moving bait. Recreational and commercial fishermen both take advantage of the combination of live and bait trolling. Live bait trolling can be particularly successful where baits such as skipjack, slimy mackerel or yellowtail are trolled near drop-offs, peaks and troughs or near bait schools. Usually carried out at speeds of less than 3 knots, it is best that the angler hold his line clear of the rod to enable awareness of the panicked movements of the bait as a predator approaches. Live baiting is best done with a high drag or free spool and a long period allowed between the fish taking the bait and the strike back, unless the fish hooks itself straight away and runs. Trolling with dead baits is the most-used method when fishing for billed fish. Many anglers troll with a combination of live and dead baits and usually at speeds between 3 and 6 knots. One method to rig up dead baits is to hook the bait to the top of the head and from the throat or belly. Upon the strike, if the fish is not hooked, the line can be retrieved along the surface to tease the fish into a second strike. If the bait is sliced by a mackerel or a wahoo, the hook-up can be achieved when the fish returns for a second strike on the mutilated head. The advantage of trolling with lures is that they can be trolled at high speeds and cover more ground and do not break up or disintegrate as do the live or dead baits. Lure trolling is to troll instantly. Bait trolling can be time consuming to setup and needs ideal conditions. If fish are following but not striking at lures, it would be best to vary the speed of the boat or to draw the line in at fast then slow speeds to give the impression of fleeing bait from the fish. Lure trolling should be conducted with a V or W pattern to reduce the chance of tangles. The outside baits or lures are further out, with the inner lines moving back in closer to the boat. It is also advisable to have the heavier lures in the centre so that the lighter, surface lures will skip over the others during turns. Drags should be set to firm and the boat gunned or accelerated upon the strike to counteract the action of the fish and to eliminate stretch. Lures should be rigged on heavy monofilament nylon or wire traces to avoid cut-offs. An advantage of wire leaders is that the wire sits well in the water and does not detract from the movement of the lure. All trolled lures should remain within 70 metres of the rear of the boat because the propeller wash has brought the fish in to the back of the boat already. Many inland fish live and feed close to the bottom. Lures must be able to go to lower levels. Trolling distances vary but where there are underwater obstacles, having too much line out can be disastrous. If the lure doesn’t get caught up by an obstacle, a hooked fish with enough line can dart behind an obstacle and cut off. Of course, fish usually prefer this type of environment with lots of dead tress and snags for hook-ups. Surface and shallow-diving lures do not work so well in inland areas as with other freshwater species. Inland fishing requires sub-surface lures, floating-diving lures which go way down and can work through a variety of depths. Anglers who are skilled in both techniques tend to use trolling to investigate depth, type of water and location then resort to casting and retrieving. Some of the best lure-fishing waters in New South Wales Australia, are the clear, upper reaches of the western rivers near the tableland regions. Native fish thrive in fast flowing waters with high oxygen content rather than on the flat country where the water flows at a slower pace. Alternative Sweeteners

Thursday, November 22nd, 2007

By M Hogan Do you have a sweet tooth? Do you crave sweet desserts? Have you ever felt like a sugar addict? Most desserts are packed full of sugar, and yet there is plenty of evidence that sugary desserts are not healthy foods. You may decide to cut your sugar intake for a number of reasons: - To eat a more natural diet - sugar is a highly processed food, and our hunter gatherer ancestors did not evolve to eat such a concentrated source of ‘empty calories’. - To assist in the control of your blood sugar - research shows that low sugar diets do help to control your blood sugar levels. - To lose weight. A high sugar intake is a diet buster, regardless of which weight loss diet you try. So how can you satisfy your sweet tooth without sugar? There are a number of strategies: - Create desserts from fresh, unprocessed fruit, with no sweeteners added. Sugar free fruit salad is a classic example of this approach. There are a number of classic desserts that can be served in a version based on this theme, such as Ambrosia, Balsamic Berries and Minted Melon. - Cut out desserts, or only serve dessert as a very occasional treat. Believe it or not, even the strongest and most demanding sweet tooth will eventually quiet down, if your sugar addiction is not being fed. - Use alternative sweeteners. Which alternative sweetener you use will be influenced by your reasons for giving up sugar, and by your own taste buds. Natural sweeteners include honey, and Stevia. - Honey is still a very concentrated food, and should be used very sparingly, if at all, if your goal is to control blood sugar or to lose weight. However, honey, in very small quantities, does still have its place in a natural foods diet. - Stevia is an extract from the leaf of the Stevia plant. It is intensely sweet, and only tiny amounts are needed to sweeten a dessert, so it’s more suitable than honey for blood sugar control and weight loss. But there are a couple of catches with Stevia: It is approved as a supplement, rather than as a food additive, so you can only use it for foods that you sweeten yourself. And, depending on the brand, it can have a slightly ‘liquorice’ taste. Its well worth experimenting with different brands, to find the brand most acceptable to your taste. Generally speaking, the white extracts have less taste. Oh yes, and watch out for the fillers! There’s not much point in using a low-calorie / low-carb sweetener like Stevia if it’s a brand that’s packed with a high-calorie / high-carb fillers, so remember to read the labels. Artificial sweeteners include saccharine, aspartame and Splenda. Its worth bearing in mind that some people are sensitive to one or more artificial sweeteners, and report headaches and other side effects. Whether or not you use them is ultimately your decision. Many people have decided that when the only drinks available are artificially sweetened diet drinks or sugary drinks, that for them, the artificial sweetener is the lesser of the two evils. If you’re cooking with artificial sweeteners, read the label and avoid those with high calorie / high-carb fillers. But don’t bother cooking with aspartame - its sweetness disappears with the heat of the cooking. This is why aspartame is mainly used for drinks. And its worth noting that if you’d like to reduce your artificial sweetener usage, but don’t like the taste of Stevia, a combination of Splenda and Stevia is pleasantly sweet and virtually tasteless - somehow the Splenda ’smoothes out’ the Stevia flavor. Ultimately, its a personal decision which sweeteners or combination of sweeteners that you use, but with the range of alternative sweeteners available you can make delicious sugar-free choices. Review of the Motorola Razr v3c by an Everyday User

Wednesday, November 21st, 2007

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Courtney_Tuttle]Courtney Tuttle Design - The Motorola Razr v3c design gets an A+. The phone doesn’t feel cheap at all, in fact it feels more sturdy than any other phone I’ve ever had. The all metal design makes the phone feel like it’s going to last for a really long time. I really like the look and the coloring. It perfect for a guy, and now there is a pink version recently released by Verizon Wireless that’s perfect for the ladies. A close friend of mine just got one, and the coloring is super cute for the ‘girly girls’. The pink version looks slightly purple in most of the pictures I’ve seen online, but is actually more of a rose pink. Camera - The Razr v3c camera is the best camera I’ve had so far. I’ve taken pictures that actually look good! This is a first for me, even though I’ve had two other camera phones. I’ve sent a few to some friends that were surprised that I took the pictures with my phone. That has to say something for the picture quality. I know that there are some camera phones out there with higher resolution, but I’m very much satisfied with the camera on this one. Features - The Razr v3c has some really cool features. Here are some of the ones that stood out initially. The voice dialing feature on the phone shows that Motorola has come a long way in their voice recognition technology. You don’t have to prerecord the names anymore, and it still works better than my old phone, even though I had prerecorded all the names. I actually use the feature sometimes. I never used it before because it didn’t work well enough on some other phones that I had. Another feature that really sets this phone apart is it’s VCAST abilities. I can watch stand up from my favorite comedians, or watch the big finish from PTI, a popular show that I love on ESPN. There are a lot more free videos to watch than I expected. I love the feature and use it habitually. Screen - The Razr v3c screen looks so incredible! When watching videos, it actually looks like the television! It really does. I’m very much impressed with it. The screen doubles as a viewfinder for taking photos, and the lag time isn’t as noticeable as it was on many of my other phones. In fact, I don’t notice it at all. Normally LCD screen change drastically when viewed from different angles, but with the Razr v3c I don’t notice it at all. Audio - The Razr v3c has an internal 22 kHz speaker, and sounds great. It does sound like a smaller speaker, but that’s what it is. When watching videos, there isn’t any problem at all. A group of people can easily listen and hear everything comfortably. Messaging - The itap predictive technology that Motorola uses took some getting used to for me. I had always used t9, and itap is a little different. Overall I like it though, and it’s just as easy to use as t9. Internet - This phone absolutely gets an A+++ when it comes to the internet. With new ev-do technology, this phone can browse the web much faster than any phone I’ve used. You can watch streaming videos that come in high quality. There is almost no wait time. Usability - I have one complaint about this phone. The operating system is a little slow. There is a slight lag that you notice when going through the menu. It’s especially noticeable when trying to respond to text messages. I would love to see Motorola update the firmware, I think that’s all it would take because the phone is powerful enough to be much faster. Overall - This phone is great. I give it an A+ overall and will probably use it for a long long time. Advertising and Marketing Services

By Kent Pinkerton Advertising and marketing services are absolute essentials for any product to compete in the market; they provide a stepping-stone towards catering to a larger audience and also help in creating a brand identity among existing customers. Marketing is the tool through which a company makes an entry into the market, and advertising introduces the product and services to the end user. Other functions of advertising are to provide products and services to potential buyers in an effective and persuasive manner. The goal of advertising is to develop awareness of a product or service and to build a distinctive corporate image for an advertiser. Advertising services can vary, from doing market surveys, designing brochures and pamphlets, logo designing, etc. These organizations cater to all the requirements of the company, from image building to brand building exercises. One of the critical services provided by these organizations is planning the launch of a service or product in the market. The complete onus of initiating effective strategies to lure customers by floating promotional activities in the print, electronic, radio and Web media, lies with the advertising agencies. Some of the marketing services provided by the agencies integrate marketing, branding, and customer retention strategies. Most of the service providers work to distinguish products and services offered by an enterprise. They also aim at strengthening the relationship between the end user and the service provider. The majority of these professional marketing companies offer services such as fermenting marketing strategy, market and product development, customer retention programs, corporate image management, brand strategies, and customized training in sales, marketing, and leadership. How To Use The Titles of Your Free Reports & Products To Boost Response

Monday, November 19th, 2007

By Michael D. Black I cant tell you how many times I have seen an ad offering Free information, a free CD / DVD, or some other similar promotion. There are dozens of products out there that are simply named The Web Design DVD, or The Success Library, or Joes Carpet Cleaning Service. And nine times out of ten that is all they will say about their particular free widget, product, or service. These people are squandering a great opportunity to boost their profits and they dont even know it. You see the titles of your products, services, and free widgets are very important because they can be a selling tool all to themselves. In the case of free widgets, we know that bonuses drive response and that simply adding a well-thought out bonus can turn a losing campaign into a winner. As far as products go, you can increase the perceived value of your product by adding a clever name. For services, you can separate yourself from the pack by inventing proprietary language for you service. For example, instead of offering your prospects free information, offer them a Special Report On The 6 Secrets To Succeeding In Business or The 9 Causes of Home Mildew & How To Fix It. You simply have to adopt this type of thinking to your particular situation. By changing the titles of your free widgets to more descriptive ones it will make them more compelling and prospects will be more interested in them. When naming products you should try to re-bundle your products so they appear as complete systems, kits, bootcamps, etc. As I mentioned, this will increase the perceived value of the product. People find books, VHS, radio, etc. to be normal and average, but if you start selling your product as a bootcamp or system your products will be more exotic and attractive. For your services, especially if you are in a high competition market, you can boost your profits by changing the name of what you do so that there is no competition. A perfect example of this can be found at my local break shop. Most brake shops will examine your brakes and install the proper parts, but my local shop offers the Multi-Wheel Friction Realign. Same product, same service, but a different name. And this makes a big difference because in my town there is only one place to get a Multi-Wheel Friction Realign, but there are dozens of places where you can get a brake job. The best way to make sure that your titles are compelling is to pattern them after headlines. They should tend to have a lot of words because people are drawn to things that are out of the ordinary. A good test to see if you have a good title would be to imagine it as a classified ad with no background details. If you think that your prospects would respond to your title in a classified with nothing but call this number after it than you have probably got a winner. The Benefits of Home Microdermabrasion

Saturday, November 17th, 2007

By Hope Mason Microdermabrasion treatments used to be known as the lunchtime peel. This short but effective anti aging skin procedure involved a visit to a dermatologist or cosmetician’s office. Thanks to new technology you can now perform this costly procedure yourself at home by buying home microdermabrasion kits. Professional microdermabrasion treatments involve the use of a tool that resembles a small blowtorch. This torch emits crystals on the surface of the skin and then gently polishes it. This polishing gets rid of the old exfoliated old skin cells and encourages new skin cells to grow. The stimulation to the smaller blood vessels in the facial skin is often immediately obvious because it brings a fresh baby pink glow to the face. These exfoliating and polishing treatments for sun-damaged skin are very popular. Microdermabrasian involves removing the superficial damaged layers in a non-invasive ways. These skin layers look healthier and the thickness of the skin is improved. However microdermabrasion works best if you attend a series of treatments so that the cells have the constant opportunity to renew and rejuvenate themselves. If you have acne scars or severe damage, you need a session every two to three weeks to achieve a smoother, healthier skin texture. Before the advent of home microdermabrasion kits, microdermabrasion was always performed in an office. Each treatment usually took thirty minutes to an hour and cost about a hundred dollars. Now thankfully several cosmetic companies are putting out their own versions of this procedures which you can do yourself at home. This is a boon to busy and budget conscious women and men as most of these home dermabrasion kits only cost between $25 and $60 and contain several treatments in one kit. This allows you to turn your bathroom into a high efficiency salon that you can visit at your leisure to polish your skin. This type of home microdermabrasian kit is also ideal for the slightly shy teenager who would rather try to take care of his or her acne scars in private. Some microdermabrasian products promise results in about four weeks but of course this all depends on how often and how well you use the product. Unlike the salons, these home microdermabrasian kits often contain creams or gels with small polishing granules. Some are thermogenic meaning the cream or gel heats up while it is on your face further stimulating your skin’s circulation. Some kits also come with a battery operated skin polishers, which contain a slightly abrasive plastic pad to thoroughly scrub away dead skin cells and exfoliate the top layers of the skin. Whether you are getting microdeermabrasion in a salon or using a home microdermabrasion kit it is quite common for the skin to suffer from some irritation and redness immediately after the treatment. This is due to the exfoliation of the skin, which eventually leads to the birth of new skin cells. These new skin cells will cause wrinkled skin to look plumper, dull skin to look more vibrant and skin with acne scars to appear less pitted. If you do suffer from mild skin irritation after a treatment then usually a mild anti-inflammatory painkiller such as Advil does the trick for relieving the discomfort. For maximum results you should also avoid wearing make up for a few days after a treatment so that you don’t hamper the renewal and healing of your newly abraded skin in any way. If you have acne and are planning to use a home microdermabrasion kit you should be aware that these kits are not recommended to use in conjunction with Accutane, nor should you attempt microdermabrasion on your face if you have taken Accutane in the past six months. Skin that has been exposed to accutane is naturally thinner and redder and there is greater risk of injury if you abrade your skin in any way while you are taking this drug. As microdermabrasion only removes the top superficial layers of the skin it is considered to be quite safe. Due to the fact that skin cells regenerate quickly any redness that does occur on your skin after using a microdermabrasion kit should clear up within an hour or two. Used correctly a microdermabrasion kit can save you the money you would normally spend repeatedly visiting a dermatologist, cosmetologist or plastic surgeon to get your skin resurfaced. However keep in mind that you will still need to do several treatments at home to achieve the same results that you would visiting a salon for several microdermabrasion sessions.
